6 Surefire Ways To Anti-aging: The Natural Way

Many things can cause our skin to age. Some things we cannot do anything about; others we can influence (which is what we'll be trying to do) One thing that we cannot change though is the natural aging process.
With time, we will all get visible lines on our face - its completely natural & absolutely NORMAL. It is natural for our face to lose some of it's youthfulness & plumpness plus as we get older our skin becomes thinner and drier. Our genes largely control when these changes occur however, that said - we can change our environment and lifestyle choices which can play just as big a role in how our skin prematurely ages. By taking some preventive actions now, we can slow the effects that this type of aging has on our skin.
How do we slow the signs of aging? Here are 6 natural ways to help slow down the signs.
#1 Protect Your Skin.
Spending a day at the beach? Running errands? Sun protection really is essential when you are out & about. You can protect your skin by seeking shade, covering up with sun-protective clothing — such as a lightweight and long-sleeved shirt or a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses.
Grab a sunscreen too that is broad-spectrum, SPF 30 (or higher), and water-resistant is ideal.
#2 Cleanse your skin gently. Scrubbing your skin clean can irritate your skin. Irritating your skin accelerates skin aging. Gentle washing helps to remove pollution, makeup, and other substances without irritating your skin. Our skin PH is around 4.75 - 5.75 so something like out Clariy & Soothe Clay Mask would be an ideal cleanser - simply mix a little with water, rub in circular motions on the face & wash off. It will gently but effectively pull impurities from the skin.
#3 Wash your face twice a day and after sweating heavily. Perspiration, especially when wearing a hat or after the gym can really irritate the skin, so you want to wash your skin as soon as possible after sweating. I used to go to the gym most days & found my skin on my face would be really irritated by the sweat so use something like our coconut soaps. #4 Moisture Up. Applying a body oil traps water in our skin, giving it a more youthful appearance. My fav oils are almond oil or coconut oil - I love to apply when I've literally just got out the shower then towel dry the excess off.
#5 Drink less alcohol. Alcohol is rough on the skin. It dehydrates the skin, and in time, damages the skin. This can make us look older.
